I lost someone close.
Emotions come in waves.
It has been a few months.
Crazy how time flies.
Sad how life goes on,
the world goes on.
No one seems to notice.
I'm alone.
Why does this have to happen, to me!?
It's not fair. It sucks. I hate this.
You're stuck.
Only you can get yourself out.
But I don't know how to get out of this.
No one can see the pain.
It's invisible, it's inside.
Until the pain resurfaces, and you can't help but
to make a scene, a reminder to those close that it hurts to lose that someone.

Life isn't fair.
I want redemption, but it's too costly.

In between the waves of emotions,
I am reminded of her in different parts of the day.
Wanting to say to her hey, this is what I did today.
Wanting to share with her the special people I've met.
Wanting to share with her the new experiences I've learned.
So I decided to do that through here.
Marty, I hope you can see me from wherever you are.
Take care of us please.

Rainy day inspiration

The forecast called for more than 5" rain today (+ thunder and lightning... wooo!) so naturally the rain (+ thunder and lightning) inspired some watercolor paintings. I used Crayola's Washable Watercolors set, so haha, not professional at all but whatever.

I finally had time to sketch a couple portraits- yay! I've been wanting to draw for a long time, but kept putting it off with work and other stuff. But not this time! It's not much and I'm hoping to improve my drawing skills, aka move beyond facial portraits to other subjects (human figures, animals, etc.). I'll try to post at least one drawing a month, but being in the last year of my grad school career, free time is somewhat hard to come by. Enjoy!

Guess who this is?? Audrey Hepburn... one of my favorite actresses
